Biography
Mr. R. Santhanakrishnan is a distinguished legal professional and internationally recognized leader in the legal community. He holds B.A. and M.A. degrees in Economics from Osmania University alongside a Law Degree, and has practiced extensively before the Andhra Pradesh High Court and the Supreme Court of India. His legal career includes serving as counsel for the Road Transport Corporation and contributing to legal education as faculty at the National Judicial Academy, Bhopal.
Beyond the courtroom, Mr. Santhanakrishnan is the founder of ‘NIVAARAN’, a mediation initiative, and has played a pivotal role in advancing dispute resolution. His leadership is reflected in his tenure as President of the Commonwealth Lawyers Association, and he now continues to serve as its Honorary Life President. He is also the founder of the Commonwealth Lawyers Cricket World Cup, an initiative blending law and community engagement.
